Soldiers Of The Cross. RCCG SOD Year Three

Soldiers Of The Cross. RCCG SOD Year Three     Our Captain is a good Warrior (Exodus 15:3). The Bible says the Lord is a man of war. When he decides to fight, He sharpens His swords and weapons (Deut. 32:39-43).   The Lord is a man of war and He knows how not to forget the saying that if you want peace you must prepare for war.   When our God and Captain fight, he fights with all that He has. He fights both from above and beneath. He throws all He has into it.    A good example is seen in Joshua 10:10-11;30. The Lord is seen fighting with hail stones from above and with a flood of water from beneath.   He made the ground muddy so that the enemy could not run away and escape.    That is why the Bible says in Psalms 68:1-2, "Let God arise and His enemies be scattered".   God has promised in Isaiah 1:24 to get rid of all his enemies. He did not just say so, He swore. In Is. 62:6-9, God swore to get rid of His enemies.   ...

Branded For Christ. RCCG SOD Year Three

Branded For Christ. RCCG SOD Year Three     The answer is simple. It is principally to distinguish between friends and foes. I mean friends will wear the same uniform, and then enemies will wear the same uniform.    Why must a disciple be distinguishingly branded for Christ? Because they want to be identified with Jesus Christ. For example, in Acts 4:13, the Bible says when they observed the boldness of Peter and John, they took knowledge of them that they had were with Jesus.     They saw that these people were special and branded for Christ. In Acts 11:26, the Bible says the disciples were first called Christ in Antioch. People saw something about them.     They said "These people are like Christ. Therefore, let us call them Christians. They are like Christ, they behave like Christ. Then in Galatians 6:17, Paul said something there: "From henceforth let no man trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus Christ. ...

The Victory Of The Disciple. RCCG SOD Year Three.

The Victory Of The Disciple. RCCG SOD Year Three.   Everything about a disciple is unusual because he is someone who is fighting a battle that is already won. The victory of a disciple is based on certain things, the Ingredient that makes up the victory are:   #1 Faith  Faith is the victory that overcomes this world. In 1 John 5:4-5, the Bible says: "For whosoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the son of God".    If you believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Bible says you have already won. You have overcome the world. The victory of a disciple is based on faith.    #2 Indwelling Christ the second pillar of the victory of the disciple is the indwelling of Christ. In 1 John 4:4, the Bible says, " Ye are of God , little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he that is in you than he th...

RCCG SOD Year Three. The Disciple Lifestyle Part 4

The Disciples and Time     A Time To Cast Away Stones.   Eccl. 3:1-5 says:   " To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven; A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together; and to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;".    The disciple knows that there is a time to gather stones together. and a time to cast away stones. What exactly do we know about casting away stones? Stones can be an obstruction, particularly in a garden where they are very many. They hinder the effort to bring forth a lot of fruits. In that case. You will need to remove all the stones in the garden so that they do not obstruct the growth of the plants.   Accordin...

RCCG SOD Year One. Weapon Of Our Warfare. Part One

RCCG SOD Year One. Weapon Of Our Warfare. Part One     The Bible says that the weapons of our warfare are not canal. In 2 Cor. 10:3-4, it says ,    "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh; ((for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds"   Some of these weapons are:  #1 Prayer  Prayer is invisible, untouchable, and invincible. We can't destroy it and it is very powerful. So, you can see that prayer is a powerful weapon of warfare.   And when you pray in tongues, the enemy cannot understand what you are saying.   #2 Faith Two of the greatest weapons of our enemy are doubt and unbelief. The devil uses these two weapons very well.   Fortunately, faith is the weapon that will neutralise the two. The Bible in Hebrews 11:6.   "But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is and He is a rewarder of t...

RCCG SOD Year One: Know Your Enemy Part 7

Image
RCCG SOD Year One: Know Your Enemy Part 7     We have talked about demons in charge of religion, but now we want to talk about another assignment that the devil could have.   Every family has at least a demon assigned to it by the devil, and above this, there is a demon in charge of a compound and a demon in charge of a town and another demon in charge of a state.   There is a demon in charge of a whole country, and so on.    For example, there was a Prince of Persia in Daniel's time. That was a demon in charge of Persia, and if you read the Bible, you will remember it was Satan who withstood David to conduct a census that caused a lot of trouble for Israel.   It was Satan that motivated Pharaoh against the sons of Israel when he ordered the midwives to begin to kill the sons of Israel. It is the same Satan that motivated the massacre during the birth of Jesus Christ.  The worship of Baal during Ahab's reign which led to no rain for three...
